COVID-19 Update
In order to best protect our clients & patients as well as our staff, Pines Meadow Veterinary Clinic has created some policies and tips for our clients.
We are following guidelines from the Ogle County Health Department and CDC to implement social distancing and limit possible exposure to COVID-19.
Extra measures have been implemented within the clinic in regards to cleaning and sanitation as well.
- WAIT IN YOUR CAR – All clients must now wait in their vehicles for the entire duration of their visit if at all possible. When you arrive, please call us at 815-732-6861 and let us know which service your pet is coming in for. We will then call you when ready and retrieve your pet from you, next to your vehicle. After your pet has been examined/treated, you will receive a call reporting any findings and your pet will be returned to your vehicle.
- WHEN IN DOUBT, CALL! – If you’re unsure whether your pet needs to be seen in an emergency or if a scheduled appointment is okay, please call us to help you assess the situation. This will allow us to appropriately triage patients to ensure that only those that really need to be seen make the trip to Pines Meadow Veterinary Clinic.
- ONE CLIENT PER PET – We understand families want to be supportive of their pets but please limit the number of adults accompanying your pet to the hospital. If you are exhibiting any signs of illness, please find an alternative person to bring your pet to the vet.
- PRESCRIPTION / FOOD ORDER PICKUP – Please phone from the parking lot and a staff member will bring your order to the car after payment is made.
- WASH YOUR HANDS – We know you’ve heard this one before, but it’s worth repeating.
Our practice will continue to be open Normal Hours to serve you and your furry friends; with the exception, that now on Thursdays the office will be available only from 8-Noon on that day. We will be closed Thursday afternoons.
We will continue to keep you updated as any additional precautions become necessary. Please feel free to call.
